For Parents

Parenting

We believe that not only is your child influenced by how our staff interacts with your him or her, but as a parent, you also have a responsibility to influence your child. The Lord says, "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." (Proverbs 22:6).

These words are still true in the present. By being the best parent you can be to your child, you will reinforce your values, morals, attitudes, love, and responsibility to them. Your child will grow up with a firm foundation in which he or she can develop their adult attitude towards life and others. Yes, their entire life experiences will ALWAYS be influenced by how they were raised and what they learned as a child.

Too often today, children are neglected by their parents, due to work, busy schedules, or even (as bad as it seems) that they just don't care about their children. It's sad to say, but today's attitude is "It's all about me". As parents, there is always time for yourself, but your children need to be constantly attended to.

Simply taking the time to go to the park, spending a day at the zoo, reading a bedtime story, or allowing your child just to talk about how his or her day was, during your busy schedule, will reap benefits for both you and your children.
